Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. On the following pages we showcase the beautiful dogs that share our home and our hearts.

Firstly a little about ourselves. We are situated in the Lockyer Valley, at the base of the Toowoomba Range in Queensland, Australia. We purchased our first G.S.P. in 1992, a liver & white male that we called Pete, for duck hunting. Unfortunately he lacked any instinct or drive to hunt, but had such a loving temperament that he shared our home until the ripe old age of 15 years.

Our next G.S.P. that we were fortunate to own was our darling "Jemma" - Wauchope Grassbird. Jemma proved to be everything we wanted in a gundog. She had the drive to hunt, took to obedience training with a passion and helped us overcome our fear of the dog show ring! Our love of the breed was sealed and Jemma became the foundation bitch for the "Darlinhart" name.

Our aim in breeding is to produce sound puppies that have correct conformation and plenty of "birdy" instinct. Temperament is always of paramount importance to us as we have young children and understand the concerns other parents face.
